My mom has been b!tching for the past two weeks about how the commercial Janome was too slow for her. Although the Janome is a great machine for DIYers and Hobbyists, she and I both agreed that we have "The need, the need for speed" (Top Gun!)
When the machine came home, my mom couldn't be more quick to hop on it and test it out. We barely filled it up with oil and she started to thread the thing. She played on it for a few hours and asked me if I knew how to use an industrial -_-". Anyways, This is a Juki DDL-8700 with a servo motor. I bought it on Ebay from a seller in Dallas and it came assembled and ready to go.
I am hoping to add another industrial and an industrial serger to my room. Like I said, I am taking this small clothing line very seriously. Otherwise, I would have never invested in such a machine. The line is going to start off with skirts. I think some people make the mistake of starting with too many things, and they become disorganized. I am focusing on one thing, and mastering it by fixing any hiccups along the way. Soon, I'll start working and adding more to my line. Believe me, this isn't any old skirt. It's the skirt of all skirts. Well, you'll see and decide for yourself. I am very proud of my baby and that's why I'm willing to take this risk. For now, enjoy the power!
